In Second Grade Spanish classes we have been learning about
the Monarch Butterfly migration to Mexico, to complement the Butterfly Unit
that they have been doing in class. We have been tracking the butterflies
on the Journey
North website. That website has tons of info on the Monarch migration
to and from Mexico, plus other migratory animals, so check it out!
We made bulletin boards at both schools to represent the journey
south that the butterflies have undertaken this Fall and will update in the
Spring when they come back north!
